Senior full back, Forrest Barnes was recognized Thursday as WTAE’s Clearview Federal Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week for his preformance in last week’s game against Connellsville. Barnes broke the single game rushing yard mark with 306 yards, a record previously held by Bill Davis, who ran for 301 yards against Butler in 2002. Barnes also set a school record for touchdowns in a game with seven.

On top of being the Athlete of the Week, Seneca Valley was also awarded with a check from the Clearview Federal Credit Union in recognition of Barnes’ record breaking performance.
