A new high flying trampoline park recently just opened in the Leetsdale Industrial Park offering guests a safer way to get an adrenaline rush. When Sky Zone opened the doors to 740 Brickworks Drive, visitors found a seemingly endless sea of wall-to-wall trampoline courts under high ceilings.
Sky Zone has five trampoline courts, including the main 5,000-square-foot court, two dodgeball courts, a Sky Slam court with two basketball rims and a three-lane foam pit.
“It’s a wonderful place to kind of come in the door, leave your worries and cares at the door and get rid of the stresses of life for an hour or so,” Joel Karg, general manager, said to Cranberry Patch.
Guests of all ages, shapes and sizes can bounce and leap with “open jump,” opt for a friendly “3-D dodgeball” game, or try slam dunking a basketball. Sky Zone has 12,000 square feet of connected trampolines to jump on and soar.
Another, more traditional way of working out recently opened. Equilibrium Pittsburgh is a community-styled studio that hosts yoga, athletic conditioning classes, Booty Barre, and more for women, men and youths.
Booty Barre is a blend of Pilates, yoga, dance and balance work in a cardio-based barre class.
Both options offer a great way to work out during the summer months.
